I have received many requests to make a video trying to cut the Forever Lock U-Lock with Bolt Cutters so I decided to give it a try.
As you can see even large 36 inch Bolt cutters are not going to even come close to cutting the hardened steel shackle on a Forever Lock.

Here is an Interesting little padlock called the Take Arms Lock. It features a unique keyway I have not seen on any other lock. Its kind of like a circular keyway that had the sides pinched in.

This thing was a real pain to tension, but I was finally able to get it right after I got my extra wide pry bar from sparrows!

This bastard of a lock gave me a lot more trouble than I thought it would. Although it doesnt look that tough, its a quirky little thing!
This is one of those locks where you swear the binding order changes every time you pick it.
A long video but I eventually got it!

Here is a really nice heavy duty padlock that has a removable Aussie Oval Cylinder. I pick this on the shore of a beautiful beach! Do you know which one?
I dont know anything about this company, but I am really glad t have this lock as it is great quality. Hopefully I can replace the core with something more high security one day soon!

Here I show off some of my ANKEH locks. Great locks that have unfortunately been out of production for quite some time. I am a big fan ANKEH locks because they are Heavy Duty, very well made, and operate smoothly even after many years.
2 mechanisms are shown:
1. A Tubular Disc Detainer Style with a key similar to a La Gard 2200. But with an over all mechanism similar to a Carl Kastner Lock.
2. Cruciform Slider Lock with a 4 fin key.

I have been trying to track down one of these for long time and finally found it!
Its another Golden Mean padlock, but it has a specialized core which requires the cylinder to be pulled out, not rotated.
In this video I briefly compare all 3 Golden Mean styles and discuss what makes the pull key version so cool!
Sorry for not picking it, I honestly didnt know how. I will make some more picking videos soon!

I found this Kryptonite tubular padlock the other day at a locksmith shop and picked it up for my collection.
You can use dedicated tubular picks for these types of locks, but you dont need to. Here I use a binder clip handle and a broken hook lock pick.

Heres a neat padlock that just arrived!
Its the Bowley Locks new Padlock Prototype. Its big, badass, and has a newly improved key and core! Now with 9 pins and 2.3 billion key combinations- the security has gotten even better.
This is a truly unique padlock and it works great in the real world, or just as a shiny piece of a lock collection!

Here one of the strangest Locks I have ever come across!
It has a gigantic protrusion which functions as a multi-layered keyway that has to be traversed by twisting and turning the key in multiple steps!
This odd design does in fact do a nice job at preventing picking attacks as access to the key pins is very restricted!
Odd, but effective!
