FeedbackLoop | #51 - Datron 1071 display replacement part 2 @feedback-loop | Uploaded 7 years ago | Updated 23 hours ago
In this part a replacement display module and a controller board were built and installed. Since more pins were needed to drive five displays, ATMega164PA was used with the MightyCore library for Arduino IDE to support it. The result is not very good. The displays are not very bright, the brightness differs from display to display, and the viewing angle is quite limited. Suggestions for better displays for a reasonable price are welcome.
