The BGI Nexus initiative, in collaboration with Deep Funding, has launched a $500,000 grant program for AI projects and solutions focused on social and environmental good. Individual projects can receive up to $50,000 to develop beneficial AI applications that tackle real-world challenges.
We are seeking technical AI and AGI solutions that deliberately target social and environmental good, including environmental regeneration technologies, AI safety monitoring systems, and more. All proposals must demonstrate clear real-world impact, comprehensive safety plans, and ethical considerations.
This is a community-centered funding program where projects will be selected through a combination of BGI community reviewer scores and community voting.
Winners will be announced in April and will have the opportunity to present their projects at the BGI Summit and Unconference in Istanbul, Türkiye (May 26-29, 2025), connecting with thought leaders in the BGI space.
