There are some reasons I reach for a baritone besides the obvious, and I cover them all here. One of them is more something you absolutely need to be thinking and listening for when playing a baritone in a band context. I hope this inspires you to make some music!
Edit: the 3rd knob is a bass contour knob; not a blend from single coil to humbucker.
