Tiramisu is one of the most popular Italian desserts. This version is quick and easy using only a few ingredients and takes about 10 minutes to prepare. Very beginner friendly as well. This is creamy and full of delicious coffee flavor, perfect for any occasion...I do add an additional ingredient which is optional but I think it adds a distinct and full flavor :)

1 Package ladyfinger cookies
2 cups espresso
2 cups whipping cream
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup Mascarpone cheese or cream cheese
2-5 TBSP spirits of your choice (brandy, amaretto etc) Optional
Cocoa for dusting
Combine whipping cream and sugar and beat. Add in cream cheese. Set aside.
Pour cooled coffee into a bowl and quickly dip lady fingers . Layer cookies with cheese mixture. Cover and refrigerate for 2-3 hours before serving
