1. Focus on the right thing
- People are so focused on making more money
- Increasing income
- Increasing passive income
But they don’t focus on:
- Decreasing expenses
- Have fewer needs
- And erasing the consumer mindset
When I was broke:
- I wanted to make 10k per month
- Then I did it
- And I want to buy a house with a mortgage of 6k ( do you know why ?)
It’s a law:
- As income rises so do expenses
- But if you are really smart, as your income rises you keep your expenses low
- Today I spend $1200 a month with a wife ( my needs are so minimal, that I could literally work 2-3 times a week and not have any need to work anymore – or just quit my job and live off my investments )
You tell me what is better, going on 10 vacation or not having to work and having time for my family
2. You’re ignorant, not stupid
- When people say, they are stupid and they don’t get it, I don’t like it
- Would you be considered stupid just because you never knew a set of facts that have never been told to you
So here is a set of things I didn’t know and how I learned them:
- I didn’t know why saving money was important
- I didn’t know how to invest money
- How to budget
- And how to earn money
- But most importantly I didn’t know when enough was enough
3 books for you
- The richest man in Babylon
- Your money or your life
- The psychology of money
The only good way I know how to learn:
- Has been by books
- I didn’t have good people around me on these subjects
- YouTube is great for certain topics but for other topics you need full books on
3. Impatients is going to make you poor forever
- You want to get rich fast
- Why don’t you go run a marathon in 10m
- It's not possible, the fastest time is a little less than 2 hours and I mean a little less than 2 hours
Stop wasting your time trying to find gold
- Use your time to build something that you can actually build
- Stop looking for a 1 dollar investment that will make you 1 million
- Look for good investments that make you good money
4. Life is not about accumulating money
- Here is an example that many people never get the chance to experience but if you are watching this video ( maybe one day you will )
Let's say you need $2,000 to live per month
- You make from passive income about $1000
- And from a part-time job you work another $1000
- You only work 2 times a week to get this done
They offer you a position making $60k a year working 5 days a week
- Is it worth it?
- The answer is no
- If you don’t need any money and the exchange you make to make more money is time, something you do need and limited
- Then the trade doesn’t make sense
- Beucase yes your income increases, but you don’t need the cash
Tip: I would only do this to build a buffer surplus
- Maybe of 10-50%
- In case something happens
5. You can't get everythig you want, but you can get the things you need
- We live in a world where everyone has a child mentality
- If you want something go get it
- And you should have it
Truth is :
- You probably won't get a mansion
- won't have every car you want
- won't have the fancy wife you want
- But you can get the things you really need in life ( your job is to find out what those things are )
For me it is:
- God
- Wife and Family
- Shelter and security
