This YouTube Short showcases my 6mm 4th Century BCE Indian army, based on the forces of King Poros at the Battle of the Hydaspes in 326 BCE. The miniatures, manufactured by Baccus 6mm and painted by me several years ago, feature elephants, infantry, and cavalry in vibrant colours. King Poros, ruler of the land between the Hydaspes and Acesines rivers, fought Alexander the Great in a fierce and legendary clash. Though defeated, Poros’s courage so impressed Alexander that he allowed him to keep his throne as a Macedonian vassal.
