A different day today. The male was ousted from the box at least 4 times but it lacked the strength of conviction of the previous days - maybe they are starting to tolerate each other a bit more.
More fluff was brought in during the day and seemingly, a more considered approach to finessing the nest was demonstrated. After a reasonably quiet afternoon our female found a head of steam in the evening and brought a huge amount of material into the nest. Let's see if she throws most of it out again in the morning.
