People who know better say that the birds react to temperature. It's all about caterpillars being available to feed their chicks with. Night time temperatures have been below freezing this week so perhaps the birds are on a bit of a slow down waiting for it to warm up a little. Speaking of down, many feathers were brought in, then out and then back in again today.This will eventually be a very snug nest!
