Estel is really strong, but I don't think she's as fun to use as some of the other characters. She has a few attacks with a lot of invincibility and forward momentum, so basically you just use the same attack pattern over and over without much consideration for different enemy types or formations. She's still fun though, she's just not one of my favorites.
I had a couple of stupid deaths in this run, but overall it went pretty well. A no death clear would be doable with a little more practice and some luck. The death on the last boss was especially dumb, I accidentally walked into the fight before picking up the health, and then just kinda spaced out at the end...
