This chapter is a fairly short chapter, though it still has some chokepoints. You start out fighting through a corridor that gives you very little space to work with, which can be annoying, but it also makes it really easy to line up a void ninpo and blast through everything in your path if you choose to do so. I just wanted to fight through them, but I think using a void here would be just as satisfying tbh.
They mix the enemies up pretty well between marionettes, imps, chainsaw zombies, and fiend ninjas, plus they throw in the tengus and a Rasetsu as midbosses on your way to Alexei, so it's a fun chapter. Alexei is barely any harder than he was originally, and Ryu has gotten a lot stronger, so you can melt him pretty quickly... I think my combos did so much damage that they skipped right past his berserk mode threshold. I tried giving him a chance to activate it, but he just kept attacking. So I finished him off.
One chapter left! And it's a tough one with a lot of boss fights.
