If you love go-arounds (or missed approaches) this video is for you ;) Filmed in March to May, 2022, I managed to get an entire German contingent of aircraft performing missed approaches into Toronto Pearson Int'l.
The first was a Lufthansa Boeing 747-400 operating the DLH470 flight. They went around on RWY 23 due to a private jet that was late to vacate the RWY ahead of them, successfully landed on the second attempt. Second was a Lufthansa Airbus A350-900 operating the DLH494 flight. They went missed on RWY 23 due to some last minute tailwind on close final which eventually caused the airport to switch RWY's to the other side, they successfully landed on RWY 06L with no issues. The third is insane, a German Air Force Airbus A319 operating a training flight from St. John's as GAF886 went around on RWY 23 due to a severe thunderstorm hitting the field. They weren't able to beat the storm and ended up in a crazy missed approach and landed in Ottawa instead. Enjoy the video everyone!
