In 2020, 4Chan’s anonymous became enraged when one of their members died in a protest against the most dangerous police force in the entire world, SARS. For years, this group had been responsible for countless crimes against the people of Nigeria, and they lived like kings with nearly unlimited power.
Because of this, 4Chan decided that they had to save the people of Nigeria and avenge the demise of their fallen member. So they got to work.
Quickly, the movement #EndSARS would begin to blow up online, and everyone from Kanye West to Beyoncé, to even the creator of Twitter, Jack Dorsey, got involved. Soon, people across the globe would stand with Nigeria in defiance of SARS.
Anonymous then went on to hack literally every one of the Nigerian government’s websites, taking all of their systems offline. Since their banks would deduct funds from protesters' accounts, Anonymous decided to take those down as well. They even infiltrated and crashed their entire stock market.
