Mother: I think quite of the magic was the spontaneity I mean … I don’t think people expected 400 thousand people to show up. It got out of control but it stayed in control what it was _________________ about it.

Mother: I don’t know. This is some kind of hippie garment.
Mother: If they had sent some flier out and said 3 days of music and stuff. Is that something you would do or you’re now for wonder?
Son: I don’t think it could happen again. I mean, it’s a totally different generation in the 60’s, I think.
Mother: They were more ________________ or we just?
Son: I don’t know if you were more or less innocent. But I just think.. You know in the 60’s you had the music and you had the sort of anti-Vietnam, anti-establishment. And now we have Facebook and Myspace. I don’t think there’s a big event anti-establishment thing anymore because to be quite honest what we started with this technology and we ________________ it has become an establishment I think that‘s the dominant culture trend of the last 10 years.
Mother: So why don’t you let me go in the Facebook?
Son: Stay out of this.
Mother; No, But I understand and also I think that you guys get your sense of community from Facebook which is the _______ Woodstock in a way and we got from being in all in one place.
Mother: There was a lot of ________________ where my parents had denied. We had no, nothing coming in terms of entertainment or music or anything.
I actually say the Woodstock was four days. I was such a little girl __________. The end of the thing sudden there’s a big mess in this guy’s farm, and everything was a big money mess. There’s garbage that some people stayed and picked up garbage. So I spent __________ next morning picking up garbage ’cause I felt bad about leaving a big mess.
Son: Never heard that one.
Son: What’s your positive _______________ memory you got on Woodstock?
Mother: At some point some guy, came up to me and said. “You look really lost”. I said, ”Well I’ve lost all my stuff, and I lost my college friend, you know.. I don’t have anything”. And he said: ”OK, at this ________, what would you really like? If you could have one thing what would you like?”
And I through life I mean can’t tell you why this happened but the word olives _________ in my head. And so I said; “Olives”. And the guy turned around into the fields and he _________: “Oooooolives”. And honest to God a jar of olives came flying across this huge sea of humanity and that to me was the most amazing thing.
I hope that in your lifetime, maybe an early happening, maybe the election of Barak Obama and the sense of the things changing or something, you will have this experience in your lifetime. It’s something __________________.
