On-board video of Lowell H.S. Cardinalbotics (4159) team's robot "Longshot" in a match during the FIRST Robotics Central Valley Regional in Madera, CA. Longshot is designed to start the match with three high-scoring rapid-fire autonomous shots into the central goal, then return to the feeding station and make continuous precision shots across the entire length of the field. Our ability to make unusually accurate extreme-distance shots from the feeding station lets us spend less time driving and aiming, and more time shooting and scoring!
We narrowly lost this match to the red alliance, but scored more than half the points achieved by our team.
Official match number: 34. Score: 60-68 (loss).
