23 Small Blocks from handout with Parting Lines. Process: 1. Use the handout of small blocks to lightly trace with 20% marker. 2. Work on 14 x 17 marker paper with 10%-40% gray markers. 3. Use a set of warm or cool gray but do not mix them. 4. Use masking as necessary: straight edges, tape, post-its, or paper. 5. Apply a smooth, even gradient. 6. Draw a dark profile line in black pencil or pen. 7. Draw parting lines with black and white pencil to add detail to the objects. 8. Add a border around your sheet. 9. Letter the title in the bottom left corner of your sheet and your first and last name, and the due date.
