Reactica is back for our 11th year in 2026, and our theme this year is "The Great Adventure"! In this setup, our orange adventurer ball travels all the way across the build through oceans, mountains, and lots of other imaginative scenery in search of its lost blue ball partner. This type of build is typically called a “one ball path”, where one ball is used from start to finish, interacting with almost all objects in the setup. Reactica 2026 is also the longest one ball path ever created - follow the orange ball from the beginning to the end!
This year's event took place from July 12 to July 18, 2026, at The Tech Interactive in San Jose, CA - thank you as always to the amazing staff!! Besides the build itself, other activities during the week included workshop sessions to teach visitors the basics of building dominoes and machines. This year’s topple was on July 18 at 1 p.m. in front of an audience of thousands. Reactica remains the only active US build event to include full sections of both dominoes and chain reaction machines.
