Woohoo! It's finally here!
Here is my tribute to electronic music artists- this video took six months to make! My main focus for this video was a nice balance of domino tricks, fields, and walls, while still putting enough emphasis on the artists’ names.
All of the artists in this video are popular throughout the Internet on song sharing sites, or release their own non-copyright music on YouTube. I targeted the artists with royalty free songs specifically, because as a YouTuber myself I appreciate these artists the most. In fact, quite a lot of the domino community on YouTube uses songs from these non-copyright artists. The reason I made this video was to say thank you to all the EDM artists, as music plays a big role in spicing up our domino videos.
For the non-copyright reason, a few “artists” in the video are exceptions. Hevesh5 is primarily a domino builder who makes EDM on the side, but since her music is popular among YouTube’s domino community I decided to include her anyway. Krank (DJ BJRA) and ParagonX9 are, to my knowledge, inactive, but I included them too for the same reason. It was also my decision to not include any big-label artists such as Avicii, Zedd, or DJ Snake, to name a few.
Part 1 was very Newgrounds and Soundcloud based, as I spend lots of time browsing both sites. In Part 2, I plan to pull more non-copyright artists from YouTube promo channels, such as NCS, Galaxy, Diversity, Jompa, etc.
