This side by side comparison illustrates the process of how I edited @SLOTHBOI and @razegod's new music video 'Fallen Angels' which can be watched on @idleglance's channel here: youtu.be/F11jkEVJDiw

First of all I filmed every take using a digital camcorder and/or 360 action camera in the outskirts of Vancouver, BC back in November 2022. After this my first task was to synchronize all footage to the music and begin selecting cuts and transitions, and of course I made great use of position, scale, and rotation keyframes. The left-most video shows the result of that.

Next I used Rotobrush 2.0 in After Effects to isolate both of the artists from the background and used Lumetri Color to make them pop out of the image a little more. I also threw in typography and illustrations sent to me by $LOTHBOI, and an animation or two of mine. The middle video shows this result, which is what was fed directly into the analog gear in the next step.

Lastly was of course the analog effects, which was primarily done using the Mezkalin @mezkalinvideogear Rusty Joe - and for the most part I did not use a Time Base Corrector to get those distorted color looks because it in reality made the signal look too clean. Fortunately I managed to find sweet spots where the signal did not drop out during direct capture. $LOTHBOI also added a few CRT captures in there as well.
