sooo...hi!


on december 31, 2020, i reached 3000 subscribers! :D it wasn't something i expected – though i did wonder at some point whether it would still happen in 2020 – but i won't lie, it was exciting to see it happen on the last day of the year.
THANK YOU. thank you all so very much for subscribing, for supporting my channel, leaving all the lovely comments (although i am so bad at replying, i am forever grateful!), and following me through the niche idiocy that i keep maneuvering myself into, lol.

as a small special, i would like to offer a multicrossover - one of your choice!
my idea was that you'd vote for an aesthetic (more on that below), and i will make an interconnected multicrossover within that. couples, families, enemies, plot, i hope there will be something for everyone!

› what do i mean by aesthetic?

you might also say era or type. i will choose fandoms that fit and create a story that is more or less in tune with the general...vibe of it. for example -

›› a medieval aesthetic might include royal houses and nobility fighting for the throne, war, religion, knights & maidens; fandoms might be pillars of the earth, the white queen, merlin, knightfall, the king, outlaw king, the white princess, maximilian, ophelia, the english & frankish part of vikings,... ;
›› renaissance might feature art, religion, humanism, the renaissance prince, power-hungry italian nobles lol; fandoms might be the borgias, medici, da vinci's demons, tudors, etc.;
›› something regency-related might be about The Season and balls and marriages, reputations, Touching Hands TM, walking in the countryside, dramatic letter writing, etc. etc. (austen. think austen.)
...you get the point. of course, there are grey areas between some of the aesthetics/eras; but i will try to make the tone & type of story clear.

as EXAMPLES, i've made small compilations in the video. these don't have to be the characters featured in the final video, i've just quickly cut together some stuff from mep parts i've made.

(note: they might all include genre-/era-typical magical elements, but except for fantasy they'd all be earth-y. like. fantasy is with dragons and elves and stuff)

› PAGAN. (e.g.: vikings, britannia, barbarians, the last kingdom, centurion, beowulf, northmen...)

› MEDIEVAL (e.g.: pillars of the earth, world without end, maximilian, the white queen, the white princess, merlin, knightfall, outlaw king, ophelia, vikings (england/frankia), robin hood,...)

› FANTASY (e.g.: lotr, hobbit, witcher, merlin, game of thrones, cursed, legend of the seeker, dracula untold, king arthur: legend of the sword, warcraft, swath 1/2,...)

› RENAISSANCE (e.g.: the borgias, medici, borgia, da vinci's demons, reign, the tudors, the spanish princess,...)

› 1700s / NEW WORLD (e.g.: black sails, pirates of the caribbean, outlander, frontier, crossbones, harlots, jamestown, salem, p0ldark [kinda? the early seasons, they're all just so pretty]...)

› REGENCY (e.g.: anything austen, war and peace, sanditon, p0ldark, bridgerton,...)

› VICTORIAN (e.g.: penny dreadful, sherlock holmes, crimson peak, dracula, dorian gray, the alienist, in secret, victor frankenstein, ripper street, frankenstein chronicles,...)

› EARLY 20th CENTURY (e.g.: downton abbey, peaky blinders, lady chatterley, babylon berlin, testament of youth, brooklyn, the danish girl, vita & virginia, dancing on the edge, tolkien, the great gatsby,...)
