welcome to this monstrosity. this is the first video of this kind (meaning: not a crossover) that i’ve ever done and i’m not really happy with it, but m&s music is pretty and those people are pretty and idk. also, sorry for all my colourings being so blue-ish.
i was trying to portray some of the friendships in game of thrones and show their lighter and their darker sides and how those people still stayed friends, bc i believe that this is what the quote is about: the other person knows who you are, knows the darker corners of your soul, and still stays with you. and that’s beautiful and what friendship is about. and looking for scenes made me sad bc there were so little.
i swear i’m working on other things i’m supposed to work on -.- but the deadline is today. also, my internship’s starting tomorrow and i hope, i hope i’ll be able to vid properly. but i can’t promise anything.

› what is vidders united?
vidders united is a project where vidders could offer up something (colourings, videos, scene packs...) in exchange for a donation to the BLM movement/a charity related to BLM. the whole project raised over 12,000$ for the cause !
(i offered several videos, a collab, and colourings. frankly, i am still absolutely floored that not only did someone take the opportunity at all, but every opportunity i offered to request a vid/let was taken. every single one. and there was a small bidding race in the last hour of the project. im?? thank you, everyone.
so yeah - expect...quite a couple of videos this month.)

›› what is this?
woodlands, magic, star-crossed lovers, a generations-old feud...this world has it all. in my own crude words: it all starts with amaryllis (arbor clan), finch (avem clan), and hawthorn (arbor clan). they grow up together, but amaryllis and finchs love is cut short when hawthorn takes the throne, betrays their friendship and marries amaryllis. over long years of marriage, they have two sons. love does not die, however – hawthorn sends finch away to die in battle while amaryllis is pregnant with a daughter, cherry. she dies giving birth to the child of her doomed love. hawthorn claims and raises cherry as his own, but when time comes for her take the throne (as her brothers both cant for different reasons) and marry, her parents relationship continues to haunt her reign.
generations later, the clans are on the brink of peace as willow (arbor clan) and peregrine (avem clan) fall in love in and wish to marry. but tragedy befalls the woods once more...
this is more of an aesthetic take and ~vibes than actual plot but i hope it makes some sort of emotional sense at least.
