This print is just a fun way of stress testing my DIY MIDEX 3D printer. I am also experimenting with adding text to my 3D models in SolidWorks.
Dual color print of a 10mm Hex Socket for my miniature screwdriver set. Obviously not for serious torque. However, now I am tempted to torque test it to the limit.
Purge tower is pictured at the end of the video. Note the orange color has virtually no oozing due to Filament Ooze Plate. Ooze plate design inspired/borrowed from FlashForge Creator Max 2 IDEX (Independent Dual Extruder) 3D Printer. Next, I will add ooze plate to the green extruder.
