On Saturday and Sunday, the 15th and 16th of October, 3801 sped from Sydney to Newcastle and back without a water gin or another locomotive, a sight not seen since it's 2007 restoration! Both returns to Sydney are seen at Rhodes and Ourimbah. Unfortunately, I couldn't catch the runs up north.
