Professor Melzer and his team are frequent travelers to our Air Zero G. In 2019, we were already showcasing their work on stereoscopic investigations of transport in dusty plasmas under weightlessness. This work on complex plasmas is very important for astrophysics and in particular the study of Saturn's rings or comet tails. Detailed studies such as this one often call for several flight campaigns to further their results, which is why we hosted the team once again this summer, through the DLR’s 37th flight campaign.
