A year has passed since the latest round of the Israel-Palestine conflict began on October 7, 2023. Shortly after the conflict's outbreak, CGTN formed a production team that included film crews from #Gaza, the West Bank and #Israel to document those affected by the situation. Over the following months, we produced three documentaries telling the stories of the victims of the fighting. Traveling from Gaza City to Jerusalem, from Khan Younis to the Golan Heights, we met a diverse array of people caught up in the conflict: an Israeli military veteran who is a passionate anti-war activist; doctors battling against the odds to save babies born during the fighting; bereaved parents; and released hostages and family members of others still in captivity. In this 366-second short video, victims tell stories of life and death, separation and loss. In the 366th second, we express the hope that after a year, an end to the conflict may come soon.
