After the issues with my first two urushi-coated Wingsung 630 pens from 365Days Stationery, this video looks at the two replacement pens that I just received.
Both are lacquered in-house, from a regular Wingsung 630, but the results are not identical

The lime green cigar-shaped pen is excellent: clean, glossy, beautifully finished, and exactly the kind of work expected from Hunk and his team. The brown lacquer version is also beautiful, but some cap fit issues remain.
This is a fair follow-up, not a takedown. Mistakes can happen with hand-finished work, and I appreciate that 365Days Stationery took the problem seriously and gave me a much better example of what their urushi work can look like. Onwards and upwards!
