This video is likely to be of limited interest to most. This is a raw frame stream from the scanner with no post processing applied. Mostly to show registration. There are issues with the main drive mechanism which are currently causing pretty bad registration. I'm hoping to rectify this in the coming weeks with some new prints but also stepper motor heat management which is a big issue when dealing with PLA plastic. The leader is from a short I am hoping to capture in it's entirety.
The reason there are two leaders is that I do not like to remove the original leaders from prints but I like to scan them if they belong to the print. In order to put something in the film path to reach the take-up spool I often splice a second leader on top.
