5-perf overscan along with just about the rattiest leader I've ever seen. I'm sure this thing saw it's fair share of the floor of a bio box. Good demonstration of the DTS timecode between the picture and analog track.
The tracking on the actual DTS tag is unfortunately pretty crap and bouncy owing to a general lack of any definition ("we're not putting any damn Dolby soundtrack on our tag!") between the sprocket holes which is the area I most commonly use for motion tracking stabilisation.
The projectionist has cut out the beep and replaced with white leader that says OPEN. (dowser)
The only cinema I ever worked as projectionist that had DTS was the Como Theatre so it must have been from the scrap pile there.

This is one of the worst video to film transfers I have ever seen, there are parts that dont even look good enough to be a broadcast grade tape transfer, more like VHS with dot crawl, banding and mono audio.")

I have never been able to find anything about these before so not sure if there actually was 12 preceding episodes or if this was just parodying serials and the minimalist cartoons of the 1960s.
Really splicy and faded print. I tried to reduce the red but it just made it look worse so I left the colour raw as it came from the scanner.

Panorama of Perth from the now closed 14th floor of Dumas House. Date is approximate based on the date stamped on the processing envelope (Aug 26th 1970) but the progress of the Mitchell interchange suggests thats very close to when it was shot.
Shown is the old Emu Brewery, The distinctive flask-shaped Eliza apartments and the Narrows Bridge. The camera changes to look North across Subiaco and West Perth and pans past the old Metropolitan Markets in the far background towards parliment house. The Barracks Arch is visible on the other side of the trench that has been dug for the interchange.
Some close ups of the Kings Park bowling club and Royal Perth tennis club finish the reel.
As this is Perth most of the buildings you see have since be demolished.")
