One second separated victory from defeat.

After dominating every qualifying round, Saber Team met us in the REDSEC Gauntlet Heist Final.

This time there was nowhere to hide.

One squad versus one squad.
First to 40.

For almost the entire match neither team could break away. Caches were stolen, recovered and defended as both squads fought for control.

Then came the final minute.

With 36 seconds remaining, Saber had our cache and were closing on the capture point.

28 seconds — they're within 10 metres.

23 seconds — we kill the carrier.

Now we have to defend the dropped cache right beside their capture point until time expires.

17 seconds — they kill one of us.

I get the revive.

9 seconds — the fighting erupts again.

1 second — Saber recover our cache and make one final attempt to score...

Time expires.

32-31.
