For most of this Gauntlet, everything was under control.
EXTRACTION
Plenty of fighting, but we stayed in control and took a comfortable opening-round win.
DEADLOCK
Another strong round.
At one point we'd built enough of a lead that we could spend far too much time messing around at one objective, repeatedly spawning inside a container just to stop the other teams scoring. 😂
We eventually qualified 2nd.
Then came VENDETTA.
And suddenly the comfortable Gauntlet disappeared.
We struggled through the opening two minutes before finally securing our first VIP.
We fought our way into 2nd...
But with one minute remaining, third place took the VIP.
We dropped into 3rd.
ELIMINATION.
Only ONE point separated us.
Then we took their VIP.
55 seconds remaining.
Hold it or go home.
We held.
And somehow, those final 55 seconds didn't just save the tournament...
We finished FIRST by 23 points.
That sent us into the HEIST FINAL.
And after all the drama of Vendetta, the Final was completely different.
20-5 after our first capture.
25-7 at halfway.
37-8 after the second.
Three more kills needed.
Done.
