South American sea lions in Chile's southern Magallanes region are all eyes when we show up, extremely curious about any newcomer into their waters. Once they realize we're not a threat they begin torpedo runs though our divers, whizzing by in a flash. Their somewhat canine natures were very much in evidence as they playfully engaged our divers.
