1️⃣ The Drake Passage isn’t a dealbreaker.
Yes, we got the “Drake Shake” both ways — and yes, it was a roller coaster, but modern expedition ships can make a big difference and a little prep goes a long way!
2️⃣ This isn’t a fixed itinerary.
Plans can change hour-by-hour based on ice, wind, and wildlife. The faster you embrace that flexibility, the better the experience — every trip is different, and that’s the magic of exploring the most remote continent on Earth!
3️⃣ You can sleep when you get home.
Most days started around 7 AM and wrapped around 9 PM. It’s packed, it’s tiring…and it’s 100% worth it to maximize your time in Antarctica!
