Hidden in the vast deserts of the American West are strange and powerful works of art — all made from metal.
In this video, we explore:
🔧 The International Car Forest of the Last Church in Goldfield, Nevada — a chaotic roadside art project made from planted and painted vehicles.
🐍 The Galleta Meadows Sculptures in Anza-Borrego, California — over 130 massive welded metal creatures, including a 350-foot sea serpent.
💀 And the eerie Goldome Mill in the Mojave Desert — a decaying gold processing site transformed by protest artists into a haunting industrial warning.
These places tell stories of freedom, imagination, and the consequences of unchecked greed — all through steel and rust in some of the most remote corners of the West.
🎥 Featuring original footage from my desert travels.
