Half the battle in knowing and applying God’s word is actually studying it to determine what it says and what it means. There are three main types of Bible Translations, not the actual version….but rather the underlying intention or core value in translating the text. Is the translation focused on verbal accuracy? Maybe it’s designed to increase the readability of the translation. Or does it seek to modernize or elaborate on the text to give the reader more of a sense of relatability?
