Mesh linking is a powerful technique dealing with mesh data-blocks which, gives you a lot of handy possibilities, like switching between different variations of a model, modeling with a contextual preview and quickly replacing multiple meshes at the same time. In this tutorial Karim Joseph first explains the principles of mesh linking and then demonstrates useful techniques based on three different examples.
