Conquest Holiday Special: Freaky Conquest Empire Productions 2020-12-30 | All Philter wanted to do was finish up an important order for one of his top, priority customers. A simple enough request. Though his allies are not simple and are, in fact, very, very needy. A time of giving, appreciation for all you have, family, friends, and - I suppose belated Halloween specials because it's 2020! Why not?! Anyways, the villains are getting into shenanigans like the dysfunctional family they are. Maybe now they'll learn how to work together after living a day in one another's "shoes". You'll have to see December 30th!After months of trying to get things together for this, figuring out last minute we needed understudies, and 2020 existing, we manage to get this fun Conquest special out before the end of the year. Conquest Reacts: Destinys Calling Ep 1 Original and Remake Empire Productions 2020-08-05 | NOTE: This was recorded at least two months ago! The original has since been privated, but because we already had recorded and we felt it wouldn't make sense to cut that part out, we've left it as is. Some commentary may be outdated.Sorry I wasn't able to put this in the video as it was a bit of an afterthought and that was because we thought we stressed enough in this one that we mean our riffing in good faith. Still, we do worry that this won't be enough for some so I would like to state here as well just in case. We do have a genuine fondness for the series in our own way. It may not be the intended way and that's okay. It's okay that we don't think it's the best. It's okay we don't like certain things. There are lots of people out there who love this series who think it's wonderful and perfect which is just as valid and awesome. Our laughter and jabs at the work was out of love and even a laugh at ourselves (or at least for me) at how we've all be there, a gentle reminder of past nostalgia. Though we may not have made it super clear, there were points of improvement in the remake despite our gripes; this will be addressed in the monthly review. We wanted to make this statement just in case as the last thing we want is anyone feeling like we're mocking them which we aren't, far from it. We hope it's understood we do what we do in good faith and look forward to see how the series or the creator's work grows in the future. Where Crystal is left out of princess life due to her sickly condition and fights for the right to be called and considered a true princess in name and position, Flurry comes to understand what her position truly means and what she must do to become both the princess she wants to be and what is needed from her.How / When can I audition?If you're interested in being a part of the project, I intend to have a casting call up soon. Once I have everything I need worked out and taken care of, I'll make the video and post it.
