Another Hazbin Song for your brain rot. I tried to play around with this one cause I love the idea that difference between Angel Dust and Anthony can be shown through the tone of his voice. Because of that, I attempted to do the same shifting from a more "character voice" at the beginning to something more real as the performer starts to fall apart and looses the mask. I'm in the process of editing my Amazing Digital Circus first time reaction as suggested on live, so look forward to that!

Now this song. I really hope you like it. I wrote a little sample of it for tik tok and it was received really well so I decided to finish it into a full video. I won't go into detail but I had a breakup recently and I've been using music to help me through it. This song was for myself mostly to express my feelings but since everyone liked it I'm putting it out for you all. I have other songs I wrote and I might put those out also but I'm not sure yet. Needless to say this is very personal and I really hope you will give it a listen. I tried to go for a melancholy type sound with the lyrics and harmonies.

That Funny Feeling (AshleyH Version)

But after a wonderful livestream earlier tonight I decided to put this out. It is the most personal I've ever gotten with a song, talking about the experiences of being in the MLP fandom during its peak to how it is now that the show is over. Although things were rocky and not perfect, I just can't help but miss it and feel that loneliness from time to time of what once was.

AuraNova (Ashley H) 2022-01-16 | I love Encanto with my whole heart so you know I had make a fansong about it It all started with the first fanart in the video I saw it on twitter and knew I wanted to play with the idea of it a bit more. I'm really proud with how this came out. I used the idea of having a song right after Mirabel's gift ceremony and how nervous and scared everything is about it. (Mirabel for not having a gift, Abuela for the fear of loosing the magic and the rest of the family for having to deal with being perfect for approval)
The main parts though are Abuela and young Mirabel to show the current head of the family and the future head show their emotions.

Memory (From Remembrance) AshleyH UPDATED VERSION 2021

AuraNova (Ashley H) 2021-12-30 | Hello everyone, so it's been five years since Remembrance first came out I don't think it's any secret that I was a beginner in terms of story telling and lyric writing. That's why most of the early songs are so clunky in terms of rhythm and such. True be told, I don't like a large chunk of the audio drama because of it, because I know I can do such much better. So here is the very first song from the series but redone to give it the epic feel I was originally going for. This version makes Twilight far more spiteful for her "gift" of immortally and really shows the cruel reality of the Princess of Friendship without her friends.

I really tried to capture the heart of the original while still adding foreshadowing and additional emotional beats to Twilights bitter and grieving character.

If you like this new version I'd love to redo many of the other early works and improve upon them. But we will see. For now take this spin on a classic. If you wanna cover it, feel free.

This started off as a fun project but I'm really happy with how it turned out. Remembrance Ep10 First Look (Keep It Inside)

AuraNova (Ashley H) 2021-08-07 | *comes out of the shadows* Heyyy, it's been awhile since anything Rem on here. Let me start of by saying that Remembrance is still in a hiatus so please don't ask me about the episode(s) but I feel myself slowly coming back to it nowadays and wanted to share something with you all since it's been literally forever. Everyone that has still stuck around to see this project to completion, thank you. You are the reason I keep coming back to this and hopefully the production will be ready to restart soon in the future.

I do know a couple things though, when the script is finished and Rem is back in production, we will be creating both episode 10 and episode 11 at once, hopefully to come out around the same time, like a real MLP season finale. I will first ask my past cast and crew if they are interested in returning and after that I will post the final Remembrance casting call for artists and voice actors before we officially start working on everything again. If you worked on Rem at anytime, you are fully welcome to participate in the finale and if you have been wanting to be included in this project for while then this casting call will be the last chance to do so, so keep your eyes out. You'll know it when you see it so please don't bug me about it.

And now for the song, If you have read this far that is. So this song is Flurry heart confessing her feelings to her mom for the first time. It's something very special to me and since it's been awhile I thought I would share an old first recording I did of the scene as a thank you for sticking by me.

AuraNova (Ashley H) 2021-07-01 | Hello! I'm not dead. Sorry for such the delay in uploads, youtube has had me feeling weird lately. Just with the fandom getting smaller and the community I used to love changing, it's been hard to process. That's what geared me to make this song in the first place, along with using my own experiences and feelings for a little extra piece. Think of it as a vent piece that will be two parts. (as stated at the end of the video)

This part mainly focuses around the idea of staying quiet and out of the way so that someone is not rejected or shunned, to put on a happy face and ignore that you're not doing okay in order to please everyone else. To become the person everyone wants you to be, even though what you want is the exact opposite. Hence why it's called "Silence"

The second part will be called "Louder" and focuses on the other side of the coin, wanting to speak out and be heard inside of hiding in the background.

The pieces compliment each other and I hope you will listen to both when they come out. Both songs are very personal to me.

Here we see the inner turmoil of Tia and how things have changed and how she feels now that she has to live with those regrets. At the end of the song she's in such a low point that she turns into Daybreaker, or at least that's my view on it. You can determine whatever ending you'd like.

Too Good To be True (For His Reasons)

For the last year or so I've been writing a My Hero Academia Fanfic that now is coming to a close with over 100+ chapters. I'm very proud of it so to celebrate the end of this very special story I decided to write a song (parody) for it.

It all centers around the concept that Bakugo Katsuki has a sister who was very weak and sick from birth because in the womb he took all of the nutrients, making him the strongest twin. After he find out as a child, Katsuki blames himself for ruining his sister's life and pretends she doesn't exist so he doesn't have to face his guilt. Claims himself as an only child and uses his anger to cope with the heartbreaking truth that he indirectly killed her chances of ever being a hero and having a normal life.

Amari (his sister) see's the rejection and thinks he's ashamed of her so she goes to America as a child in order to make herself stronger, to prove herself worthy of being his sister. She comes back after getting accepted to U.A. and the two uncover all of the things they were too afraid to face, including each other.

It's a Todoroki Shoto X OC story so there is fluff, romance, action, real life themes, relatable relationship building and a whole lot of angst and sadness. Not your typical type of story with this trope. Trust me.
