29 miles through the beautiful Piney Woods of East Texas! 🚴♂️🌲
The 2026 Tour de Pines was one of those rides that reminds you why you love cycling. I rode my trusty 2012 Specialized Allez through miles of quiet country roads, towering pine trees, and incredible canopy-covered stretches around Hainesville, Pine Mills, and Holly Lake Ranch.
But as beautiful as the scenery was, the best part was sharing the miles with great friends. Good roads, tired legs, plenty of laughs, and 29 miles of East Texas that I won’t soon forget.
Sometimes the best rides aren’t about how fast you go—they’re about where the road takes you and who you get to ride it with.
29 miles. Tall pines. Old bike. Great friends.
