Some race days are about speed. Others are about patience, teamwork, and making the most of what the lake gives you.

This was one of those days.

We were out on the Catalina 22 with Sisters with Sails, racing Team Blue on a day with little to no wind. At times, it felt like we were barely moving, but we did everything we could to stay competitive, keep the boat moving, and make the right decisions in painfully light air.

Even though the conditions were rough for racing, the experience was still incredible. The camaraderie on board was fantastic, the laughs were constant, and Sue brought amazing homemade food that made the whole day feel even more special.

Sailing is not always about perfect wind and dramatic speed. Sometimes it is about showing up, learning, working together, and enjoying the people in the cockpit with you.

A huge thank you to Sue, Kenny, and everyone involved with Sisters with Sails for another wonderful day on the water.
