This is a test of the Canon XA20 (XA25 / HF G30) using the 28Mbps AVCHD 50p mode. The file was uploaded directly from the camcorder to YouTube, no editing or processing whatsoever.

Settings:
AVCHD / 28Mbps LPCM 50p
Auto Focus (I.AF)
Auto Exposure (Shutter Priority: 1/50th)
Auto White Balance
Stabilisation: Dynamic
Sharpness: -2 / Contrast +2

Sound captured by a Sony ECM-XM1 mic into the XLR handle on auto rec level; you can just see the Rycote windjammer creeping into shot when fully wide - oops.

It's a very sunny day, the light is coming from ahead, slightly to the right of the pond, so it's a very contrasty, quite testing scene.

If you buy the XA20 via our Amazon link, it helps us keep the reviews going: amzn.to/1HVYDIA
