Testing how clean the Sony PXW-X70 camcorder's gain is and comparing it to Canon's XA20 (XA25 / HF-G30), Canon's XF200 (XF205) and for interest, against a Sony PMW-200 which is a broadcast-quality 3-chip camera with 1/2-inch sensors.

Basic test done with a dim light illuminating a set of coloured bottles on a desk, at various gain settings. Waveform monitor also included for a) relative brightness and b) noise profile.
