Hey guys! So this video is basically a way of me showing you guys the completely raw, unedited lettering I produce. I got this idea from Ian Barnard and asked him if it was okay for me to take this concept and sort of turn it into a 'challenge', for lack of a better word. I wouldn't necessarily call it a challenge, but I wan't you guys to basically recreate this video using your favourite brush pen and write 26 names, 1 name for each letter of the alphabet. Do it all in 1 go, no jump cuts, if you mess up, keep going because that is the point, to show people that although the vast majority of the content we post on social media of our work, this is how it all begins, with the first draft. I just think this will be an interesting idea to see you guys do the same so we can all see the different styles people can achieve with different tools!

Hey guys! So first off, again, I want to apologise for the lack of uploads over the past year or so, but I have been attending university and simply dont have the time to put out many videos. However, I am now home for 4 months before returning for my final year, so Im hoping to get a good few videos out. Anyway, Chris from ScrawlrBox contacted me and was interested in having me as one of the featured artists for one of their monthly boxes. This was because the May edition was based on hand lettering, so of course the featured artists should be a hand letterer and luckily for me, I was picked! Im super happy that this box was influenced by the pens I use, it just gives it a more personal feel and also gives people a bit of an insight into the tools I use. This is not a paid advertisement, I just want to make this very clear, I am not promoting ScrawlrBox for money, Its because I love what theyre doing and they do a fantastic job of it, and they also such nice people. I really do recommend you go subscribe, even if its just for one months box to see what its like.

Hey guys! So this was an outcome I wasnt really expecting when I started this piece. It was initially just a practice piece, however I am very happy I decided to record this. If I had known I was going to take this design further, I would have recorded the drawing process, so I apologise for that. I will try and include the drawing process in my future speed art videos for you! This is sort of an example of how much refinement goes into creating a successful piece of type. This took me around 3 hours in total to vectorize and it was definitely worth it! I hope you guys liked this piece, and if you like, you can download this as a desktop wallpaper with the link above!

Hey guys, this design is for a clothing line called Feel Different Apparel. They requested a custom type piece saying Different Since 94 and they gave me a couple of examples of the logo style they were looking for.
