The weather is glorious. It's been like this for a few days now! These are the kind of temperatures that you dream about in the cold bleek grey wet windy winters. These are the kind of temperatures that people pay big money to lie under in Mediterranean holiday resorts. Yet the moment we get great weather our newspapers environmentalists and weather men are issuing dark warnings about the welcome sunshine. We have big red blotches appearing over the UK on our evening news and all sorts of warnings. Oh dear.
I'm just going to enjoy it while we have it!!!!!!
Today I started power hosing our paving slabs. This is a long and labourious job. It takes hours and hours of work. I didn't realize howdirty our paving had become over the years. The difference made power hosing is remarkable.
I didn't use diluted acid to brush on and hose off this time as I didn't want to kill our stones border plants. The acid would kill any insect life too so I'm avoiding using it.
