'Shaun tells us,
I was doing my walk the other evening on the Crofton walk and I saw Oystercatchers which the app says is unlikely so it was a lucky sighting also saw Canada Geese on the sea which I haven’t seen before. A local man told me he does see them at certain times of the year on the sea'.
The black oyster catcher here does resemble our oyster catchers in six shape and behaviour. But the colouring is obviously very different.
