Retired photographer David visits the Israeli parliament, the Knesset, for an exhibition of his photos. He had good relations with all former prime ministers and his pictures document the political history of the state.

Psychologist Giselle, 86, emigrated from Ukraine to Israel after the death of her husband. She works for an organization that helps survivors of the Holocaust. She visits them at home and they talk about their experiences during World War II.

Rabbi Shmuel Stern is recording religious music for his fifth album. The first four CDs were very popular and successful. Michael, on the other hand, is a popular singer who combines Reggae, Rock and Folk music. With his concerts in Tel Aviv, Europe and the US, he wants to change the image of Jerusalem and its citizens.

Lawyer Shlomo represents a Bedouin village outside of Jerusalem which is in danger of being destroyed in order to make way for a Jewish settlement. At his press conference about the case, journalists from the BBC, Washington Post and a popular Israeli TV channel attended.
