Finally hit sub 2:50 \o/.
It'll be a grind to get a better time: need to execute Midgar step count perfectly, and a first try Yuffie can save me a few minutes. Thank you meesbaker and elfshot for some of the route changes. Neat speedrun with various technical aspects.
Technical Explanations:
The run uses a couple PC exclusive features/glitches:
Battle Mode Warping: Allows you to warp to a death point in Mt. Nibel after winning a battle in the world map.
Yuffie Warping: Allows you to warp to any death point after defeating Yuffie in a forest encounter.
Debug Room: Allows me to warp directly to skip most of the story.
