Josh Kavanagh, DNR Wetland Program Supervisor, will be providing an overview of the Wetland Management Program and the work being done on new and existing Wildlife Management Areas to restore and enhance wetlands. Nicole Hansel-Welch, DNR Shallow Lakes Program Supervisor, will talk about the work the Section of Wildlife is doing to enhance habitat on shallow lakes in Minnesota. Her presentation will include a overview of the habitat condition in shallow lakes across the state and examples of management projects.
