Nottingham is hiding an entire world beneath its streets… and today, me, Luca and John are going underground to explore it.
We were lucky enough to gain access beneath several well-known Nottingham pubs, heading down into the ancient tunnels and caves hidden directly underneath places where people are drinking and partying above us. But that's only the beginning.
We venture underneath a barber's, beneath a graveyard, explore tunnels connected to an old tram road, and discover underground locations most people walking through Nottingham would never even know existed.
At one point, we even have to walk straight through someone's house and into their back garden, where an entrance leads down into a huge hidden air raid shelter.
And because this is the EXTENDED CUT, we're not finishing there...
We spend the full 24 hours in Nottingham and eventually set up camp inside an underground air raid shelter, where we'll be spending the night.
