The More We Know | 22,000 Raced Through Mud in France @TheMoreWeKnow | Uploaded May 2014 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
Around 22,000 signed up to play dirty at an obstacle race in the outskirts of Paris.
Everywhere you look there is mud, mud, and ... more mud which is expected from a race called "Mud Day."
The 13 kilometer track is littered with 22 obstacles, the biggest of its kind says organizer Robin Taccassuto.
SOUNDBITE: Organizer Robin Tacassuto, saying (English)
"It's not a race, it's not a competition. The objective is to go beyond your limits and you run with a team and you just have fun with your friends."
Mud racing is a fast growing trend around the world, and allows people to test their limits, while at the same time release their inner child.
SOUNDBITE: Participant Sebastien, saying (English)
"It was a great adventure. It was a bit difficult because it was so much mud but it was fun."
Mud Day ends when everybody is sent to the showers.
