The South Tyrolean Weger brothers thrive on challenges and variety. Both were world-class kayakers, with Matthias being part of the Austrian national team, and his younger brother Jakob a medal contender for Italy. Besides, they are passionate paragliders, base jumpers, and freeriders.

Winter 2022/23 had already ended for the two in May, until they were alerted by their friend and snowboarding legend Krister Kopala about an approaching storm and massive snowfall—350 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle in Norway. Spontaneously, Matthias and Jakob headed to the Lyngen Alps, possibly to conquer one line: the Arctic Dreamline, despite extreme weather conditions.
